First to say that Rollei has a great variety of backpacks of different sizes and uses, from this series of which I want to describe, Traveler Canyon, has four sizes, S of 10 liters, M of 25 liters, L of 35 liters and XL of 50 liters.

This review is about the 35 liter L model, which, because of its size (30cm x 21cm x 46.1cm), is perfect for photographic output at dusk or for a trip of several days. I will try to focus on the characteristics of these backpacks that I found most interesting.

Rollei Traveler Canyon L + Rollei Rock Solid Gamma Tripod

Lightweight and comfortable.

I have been looking for a lightweight and comfortable backpack for a long time and that it wasn’t too big to take me to my photo sessions. With a weight of two kilos and a fully ventilated and mesh-shaped back loading system, it makes this backpack perfect to not to end up with shattered back after some time using the backpack, as well as adapting to our body perfectly by the various tensioners available both for the lumbar area and for the chest area.

Secure, organized and accessible equipment.

Rollei Traveler Canyon L backpack has of two independent compartments. One in the bottom quilted in the form of independent bag and another at the top as a sack by means of a rolled up closure for the rest of accessories that we need to take in our photographic trip, I use it to carry the filters, a raincoat, some food…

Quick access to the camera. To the camera we access from the front of the backpack through a zippered opening, which will give us quick access to what in Rollei call “Inner case”, a storage space independent of the backpack that we can extract at any time if we need it, keeping our equipment organized when it is stored.

This backpack is made of resistant outer material and waterproof zippers that make it durable to any use that we go to give it, also brings a sheath that completely envelops it making it impermeable. Also comment that comes with fixing systems as for tripod as for walking sticks, has several pockets and external meshes that we can use to carry more accessories. Note that inside has a compartment to carry a notebook up to 15 “.

One of the things I liked most about this model Traveler Canyon L, is that its size adapts to the measures of the hand luggage in the airplanes so that we can take it with us in our trips.

Do you like the backpack? Where to buy it?

If you liked this backpack and you intend to buy it, I recommend you visit Rollei’s website, www.rollei.de, here you can find it at a price of 199.99€ and you can also see the different models available.
